Cordova Dragway Pit Policies

For everyone’s safety, we are limiting use of pit vehicles by non-racers, as well as limiting the type of pit vehicles allowed. We must do our best to “reel this in”. Illustrated  is an example of what is allowed. The gate staff will have full discretion.

We must do our best to “reel this in”. Below is an example of what is allowed. The gate staff will have full discretion.

1 Non-motorized vehicles such as, tricycles, skates, skateboards, roller blades, razors, are not allowed.

2. The speed limit for the entire facility is 10 mph.

3. All operators must be at least 16 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and must be covered by adequate liability insurance applicable to the operation of the pit vehicle. All operators shall provide proof of such insurance, a driver’s license, and any other applicable credentials upon request of an event official.

4. Unsafe or improper operation of the pit vehicles and/or any violation of regulations and instructions may, at the sole discretion of the Raceway, result in penalties against the owner and/or operators, including, but not limited to immediate impoundment of the pit vehicle.

5. The hours of operation for pit vehicles will be from the time gates open until the last race is completed.

6. No pit vehicles will be allowed to enter through the spectator gate.

7. Golf carts are the preferred vehicle. No large side by sides, ATVs will be allowed. If it is bigger than a golf cart, don’t bring it.
