Scott Palmer won the first IHRA Outlaw Nitro Top Fuel at Darana, Del Worsham is one of three drivers to win titles in both nitro classes, Daniel Wilkerson made his first 2026 final in Bristol with Summit back for 2026, Julie Nataas earned her nitro Funny Car license, and Fuel Altered aces Ryan Hill qualified No.1 at 3.461/226.70 and Dave Hirata set a track record 3.48 at 231 mph.
