THIS BATTLE NEVER GETS OLD

These two iconic Chicagoland hot rods have been battling on the dragstrip since before many fans were born. Bob Mayerle and his family from Pro Glass Windows compete with their Peppermint Twist against the equally famed Shake, Rattle and Run 1957 Chevy, still owned by the Mensino family. These two “shoebox” cars are the innovative grandfathers bridging the gap between gasser racing and the early years of today’s insanely popular Top Sportsman and Pro Modified competition. Each will do battle in this week’s WORLD SERIES OF DRAG RACING!
